hehe i'm busy with tons of school work right about now. so i haven't been dropping anything creative in dA for some time now. but here's something in the mean time. i'm working on some silly report stuff and i'm inclined to ask if anybody can answer these few simple yes/no questions. and it would be sweet too if you can include your own fancy job title or what not, like "creative arts student"
1) Do you know what stock photography is? yes/no
2) Have you used any before? yes/no
3) Do you think they are useful? yes/no
4) If you have access to a stock photography collection,
would you still prefer doing photography yourself? yes/no
5) Do you think stock photography is more convenient? yes/no
yeah that's it, 5 li'l questions!

thanks in advance if anyone happens to come across this journal entry of mine!

if you've got it, you've got it.
if you ain't got it, then go find it!
1) I think, stock photos are like uh... pictures that you didn't take but can use them in your own art. Like how Ed Wood used stock footage in his movies, right?
2) Naw, I don't believe in using other people's work to make mine look good.
3) Useful? Most of the times when I see stock footage in a movie it's pretty obvious (example: they cut from the two main characters watching a football game to footage of a football game, the lighting and the sounds change). If it can be used effectivly, perhaps.
4) I'd rather go searching for a photo on my feet than search for one on the web.
5) Convenient if you can find it easily. It could take forever to find something you're looking for, sometimes.
